Los Gatos · Est. 2018
Long-fermented breads, daily pastries, and a carefully stocked pantry — all within walking distance of Summit Road.
Our Story
Maison Du L.Ac. started as something simple: a desire to bake bread the way it used to be made — slowly, with attention, and with ingredients that actually taste like themselves.
What began as weekend baking for neighbors has grown into a full kitchen and a small grocery that serves the Summit Road community. We bake every morning. We source from local farms when we can. And we keep our doors open because this is where we live, too.

What We Do
Every loaf is hand-shaped and left to ferment overnight. Our sourdough, country loaves, and seasonal ryes are baked fresh each morning — no shortcuts, no preservatives.
Butter croissants, pain au chocolat, fruit tarts, and seasonal specials — all made from scratch. We close the pastry case when it empties; there is no reserve.
Olive oils, vinegars, preserves, cheeses, and dry goods selected for quality and origin. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't make it onto our shelves.
We partner with nearby farms and producers throughout the year. What changes with the seasons shows up on our counter — fresh, honest, and unprocessed.
The Pantry
Our grocery section is small by design — every item has earned its place. You will find single-origin olive oils from California and Italy, house-made preserves, imported and domestic cheeses, artisan chocolates, and a rotating selection of seasonal produce from local farms.
We also carry everyday essentials: quality flour, sea salt, honey, coffee, and tea — the things you reach for most, sourced from people who care about what they ship.
